The Public Sector Duty

This course is about the Public Sector Duty.

The Public Sector Duty is a law. It says that people must enjoy their human rights when using public services.

Let’s take a look at what you will learn.

You will learn about public services and what they do.

You will learn about the rights of people with disabilities when they use public services.

You will learn what public services must do to uphold the law.

You will be able to tell other people how they can use the law to make sure they get their rights.

You will know how to check how public bodies are doing.

Once you have done the training you will get a certificate.

You will also get a checklist which you can use to check public services.

The training will be given by Josephine Mcloughlin.
